March 2026
Hello Gardening Friends,
A brief message this month as we are concentrating on several projects in the garden.
The entire woodland is being gardened, soil aerated, and weeding and pruning of shrubs to let more light through. Finally a good layer of our home made compost is the finishing touch. It’s a huge task but already the results are so good that it’s easy to keep the motivation. Soon there will be two beautiful walkways through our woodland garden.
The side pond has had major changes which I will describe and send photos of in the next newsletter, and we are completing the rock garden with more rock being put in soon.
We’re welcoming visitors back this month and will be open until the end of May.
So just a quick update this month and it’s a good time to think about visiting gardens in the coming autumn months.

Photo 2: The always popular Dahlia ‘Café au Lait’.
Photo 3: Foliage on the low growing shrub Fothergilla gardenii.

I hope that you all enjoy this gentle season with its softer colours,
